I created, wrote, and designed this research document to analyze the MVP and personas of UBER to see how it developed to disrupt the taxi cab business.
Description: When UBER cab first launched, it hailed itself as a black cab service where people can hail a luxury cab by a press of a button. Later on, UBER realized that there were opportunities to expand world wide and make their service inclusive and affordable to regular people. That service where anyone can get a ride through a phone app is called UBER X, but how did the successful digital service innovation come about?
This is an animation I made by looking at the historical animation “steamboat willie,” the first animation by Disney to use audio in the animation. I wanted to make Mickey look like a tough and cool pirate as he is steering a boat.
The bottom stop motion excerpts are from my short animation, a Silicon Valley Horror Story. View the project and film here.
This was a IOT futures concept video for a group design project about utilizing the internet of things to bring a positive change in the world. Our product that we came up with after reading persuasive design research (Goldman - Futures) , is a anti addiction magic mirror that shows your future if the bad habits continue to fester. During the project, our group members were suddenly split across the globe due to the COVID-19, so we could only film offline, in our homes, with limited equiment (Iphone).
